The Evolution Behind the Evolushen
2011 - 2016: The Overachiever in Corporate
I spent a decade climbing the ladder in the student apartment industry, always chasing the next title, the next award, the next promotion. I was known for breaking the status quo and raising the bar—but behind the polished resume was a creative woman who was burning out trying to fit into a system that wasn’t built for her.
2017-2020: The Quiet Side Hustler
While working full time, I was secretly side hustling every chance I got—running Etsy shops, designing print-on-demand products, ghostwriting articles, and Googling “how to make money online” more times than I can count. I wasn’t just chasing money—I was chasing freedom, even if I didn’t fully realize it yet.
2021: The Freelancer in Training
In 2021, I discovered the world of freelancing—and fell headfirst into learning everything I could about it. For 18 months, I studied, tested, failed, pivoted, and finally decided to bet on myself. In April 2022, I walked away from my corporate job and took my online business full-time.
2022: The Misaligned Creator
Like many entrepreneurs, I started by saying yes to everything. I worked with clients who didn’t light me up, took on projects that drained me, and created content I thought would perform instead of what truly mattered. I was chasing views, likes, and revenue—but my purpose felt lost in the noise.
2023: The Reset
In July 2023, I did something most people are afraid to do—I paused. I took a full month off from my business to get radically honest about what was working, what wasn’t, and what I actually wanted. I overhauled my offers, redefined my mission, and walked away from brand deals that no longer aligned with who I was becoming. I lost thousands of dollars that month—and found clarity I couldn’t have bought.
2024 - Today: The Rebuild
From that clarity came alignment. I landed my dream role as the YouTube creator and community manager for EverBee. I added UGC services to my offerings. I built the Paid Content Creator Academy, a program that’s helped over 120 women become paid creators without sacrificing their values, time, or mental health. Evolushen was no longer just a brand—it became a movement.
I don't believe in gatekeeping, hustle culture, or building a business that drains you (even if it pays you well.)
I’ve built everything I teach from the ground up, and I’ve done it with intention: staying off the hamster wheel, choosing high-value over high-volume, and prioritizing time freedom as much as financial freedom.
